Angela is a featured participant in the upcoming sports/fitness DVD with Fitness
Hall of Famer, Donna Richardson Joyner, “Sweating in the Spirit II”, (in stores
NOW) where she has partnered with Mrs. Richardson-Joyner’s movement to encourage
America to renew the whole mind, body, and spirit through exercise and healthy
living through the Spirit of God.
Angela‘s talent has been recognized on a national level with her winning the
2005 Kraft Gospel Talent Search, where she won a $25,000 cash prize. Angela
wowed the judges from that event, that included Sony Urban Gospel Executives
Tara Griggs-Magee and Sony Epic Gospel artist Kim Burrell. The competition was
held at the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans and like all of us, Angela has
great concern and continues to support efforts to re-establish those displaced
by the hurricane that followed her great accomplishment.
Angela Blair has been featured in national advertisement and promotions that
included prominent ads in Essence, Ebony, Today’s Black Woman, Family Digest,
Gospel Today and Jet magazines. Angela keeps her live performance skills sharp
as she performs regularly, where she is in particularly high demand.
One of her performances during Valentine’s Day 2006, billed as “Roses, Dinner, &
Romance,” was featured as one of the concerts to see in the Dallas Morning News
Guidelive section. The show sold out and heralded by many as one of Angela’s
best performances.
Recently, Angela was given the "KEY" to the city of Corsicana, Texas before a
performance there October 14, 2006. Her colleague and band member, Bobby Sparks
II, was given a day in his honor. Corsicana is Sparks' hometown. Check Angela's
