Quedon

Born to sing and ready to shout it from the roof-tops, R&B Artist, "Quedon" (pronounced Qwuh-don) is the tenor laced antidote to all that ails the hearts of women. Throughout his self-titled album, he's either missing them, loving them like no other, or found speechless by them. Though not to alienate the men, he truly represents for the brothers that just want to love and cherish their woman but don't quite know how to put it into words.

Singing since the age of four (4), Quedon knew it to be his life's mission to entertain the masses with his voice. A self proclaimed perfectionist, he worked diligently to perfect his craft, becoming inspired lyrically by personal experiences and the respect he holds for love and the love of women. "I feel that love is stronger than any force and women are God's gift to mankind". At the age of sixteen (16), Quedon started entertaining audiences statewide, and regionally,

singing his original work at Beauty Pageants and at Music Festivals where he has shared the stage with many music legends. Since then, Quedon has went on to perform "live" in countless local, regional & national events and in concerts as the opening act and as a "Head Liner"...

Eventually he would hook up with Producer, Musician & Songwriter, Derek "D.O.A." Allen (Tyrese, TLC, Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Norman Brown, and many others). Their collaboration on this project was one of great musical success. In an industry over saturated with contrived "studio" talent and pop icons, Quedon is truly a breath of fresh air. "I love singing my heart out to a live audience". His vocal styles are reminiscent of Eric Benet and Joe, yet admittedly influenced by the likes of Stevie Wonder, Donnie Hathaway, Marvin Gaye, Charlie Wilson and Babyface. One is bound to lose themselves in the myriad of musical styles and seasoned rifts that evoke this eclectic labor of love. "It's pure magic creating something in your head and watching it unfold to a beautiful piece of art..."

Through his journey as an artist, a writer, and a performer, Quedon has developed a greater love and a bigger passion for "music". On top of his love for the stage and singing songs for his own personal projects, Quedon loves singing and performing on commercial projects as well. He has had the opportunity to sing on many popular radio/broadcast jingles and parody songs, along with working with many of the industries greatest songwriters, producers and performers. Outside of music, Quedon loves spending time with his family, playing basketball, going to the gym, relaxing in a "low-stress" environment, and simply enjoying life.

Quedon's new C.D. that hit the stores (and the internet) on April 26th '05 is destined to become a classic!!! His album not only features Producers like Derek "DOA" Allen (Tyrese, Janet Jackson, Smokie Norful, Norman Brown), but also hot new Producers & Musicians like R.C. Williams (Eryka Badu, Snoop Dogg, Common, Kirk Franklin, Talib Kwalib), and it has more than it's fair share of focus tracks suitable for heavy radio airplay and "platinum potential".
