Rahbi |
|
|
An Atlanta native, Rahbi started
singing at the age of three. By his 14th birthday he inked his first record deal
with Interscope/Laface Records as one fourth of the R&B group 4th Avenue.
Although the group made many appearances and even shot a music video, an album
was never released.
With aspirations of becoming a success and now with the experience of being a
signed artist, Rahbi began the rigorous road to solo stardom. While making his
mark on the competitive Atlanta music scene, Rahbi joined The Freddie Hendricks
Youth Ensemble of Atlanta, where he was discovered by former Motown recording
artist Donnie.
While touring both locally and internationally with Donnie, Rahbi became a show
favorite sharing the stage with some of R&B and Gospel music’s finest, from
India Arie, Anthony Hamilton, Smokie Norful, and Shirley Ceasar, to Bobby

Rahbi |
|
Kindred the Family Soul, and Trina
Broussard. With his ability to perfectly blend R&B, hip-hop, gospel, jazz and
soul Rahbi is often recognized as the Prince of Hip-Hop /Soul. |
As a singer and songwriter
Rahbi constantly redefines himself and his music by looking to his musical
influences to create a sound that is incomparable and distinctive. Always
willing to take risks and speak on things no other artist would, Rahbi not
only makes music for the soul, but music that endures. With all that he’s
learned and accomplished, Rahbi is ready to take on the music world with his
first studio recording simply entitled Rahbi the EP.
Described as a flawless blend of soul perfection complete with hip-hop
grooves and melodic melodies, there’s something for almost every musical
taste and mood, whether you want smooth jazz on a Sunday evening or
something to get you hyped for a night of clubbing till 3am. Rahbi the EP is
undeniably a work of art. When asked to describe the album, Rahbi says that
he’s bringing back the passion to R&B and Soul music, something that has
been missing from music for a while. Refusing to be placed in a particular
genre, Rahbi says he’s influenced by everything from R&B, Hip-Hop, Gospel,
Jazz and Rock, to movies and television commercials. With a stunning
collection of timeless music from the heart and soul of a gifted artist,
Rahbi the EP was dropped early March on Yes Sir Productions.
