Rajac/Raymond Jackson

Rajac a.k.a. Raymond Jackson is one of the baddest bass players in the business. Jackson used to be part of the legendary group Mtume. He left James' band after the "Theatre of The Mind" album.  You'll find his name on Tawatha Agee's solo debut for Epic. His session-work include; Aurra (1983), Charles Earland (1983) and Roy Ayers (1985) to name a few. In '88 he signed with Sutra Records and released his solo debut "Rajac & Redd Hott", which include recording artists Curt Jones (Aurra/Deja) and Phillip Field (Aurra/Mtume), and Jimi Randolph (Aurra/Civil Attack). There's not much more I can tell you about Raymond - except he's alive and doing well.

Where were you born Ray? Any artists/musicians you admire? What do you think of the music industry today? In other words... reach out to us brother. We would love to hear from you!
